Since its opening in 2005, Black Bear Ridge Golf Course has continued to grow and improve. Along with BBR's reputation of providing golfers with turf conditions of the highest possible standard, new additions this year solidify BBR's position as one the finest Public golf facilities in Canada.

This year BBR is adding a full service food & beverage facility. A comfortable setting with panoramic views of the championship course. A great place to relax before or after a round of golf. Also this year, BBR has replaced its gas powered golf car fleet with 60 brand new electric Club Cars.

BBR also offers a full service proshop, CPGA professionals, bent grass tees (greens and fairways), on course washrooms, a lightning detection & warning system, paved cart paths and the best practice facilities in eastern Ontario.

The practice facilities at BBR are of the finest available in the country including a 2nd dedicated driving range, a 9 hole short course, a short game competition course, a variety of target greens, sand traps, uneven lie practice area, bent grass tees, Callaway balls and a quiet and beautiful setting to let you relax and work on your skills.

Junior Recreational Golf Program
These clinics are for boys and girls, ages 6-12, just starting out in golf. Our staff provides a safe, healthy and fun environment for these students. Learn about the CN Future Links Program offered at BBR.



Junior Competitor Coaching Program
This program is available for juniors who are interested in having a more in depth learning and coaching experience, working toward a more "competitive" environment.

Clinics
Half day & 90 minute clinics including: full swing, short game pitching/chipping, swing fundamentals, stretching excercises and more. These clinics are not recommended for beginners unless otherwise stated.

Private & Semi-Private Adult Lessons
A variety of lessons encompassing all aspects of the game.
