Black Bear Ridge Activities
Year-round fun
What started as a public golf course is evolving into a four-season resort with year-round options for everyone. From our unique bocce ball golf course, extensive hiking, mountain biking and bird watching trails in the summer, to cross country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling all winter long, it's always a great time for a visit to Black Bear Ridge.
Mini putt but make it... bocce?
Now Open! Bocce Golf is our take on the ultimate best of both worlds: mini putt and bocce ball. Featuring a 9-hole layout perched near the top of the ridge, this fun filled game is best played with friends and a drink in hand. Bring a date, some colleagues from work, or the entire family—you no longer have to swing a club to play a round at Black Bear Ridge.
Cost: $10 per person
Hours: Sun up to Sun down, seven days per week
Great for birthday parties, corporate retreats, family reunions and more...
Nearly 900 acres of nature
Leave the distractions of city life behind and immerse yourself in Eastern Ontario's new outdoor trail system. Better yet, wind your way back home to our luxury accommodations to warm up (and chill out) when you're done.
Winter at the Ridge
Black Bear Ridge is located adjacent to the Corbyville trail entry—Trail #701 District 3 in the OSFC Trail Guide—the gateway to North Eastern Ontario's best and most reliable snowmobiling terrain. Use BBR as your jumping off point to exploring the Moira Lake and Bancroft loops or go as far north as the gorgeous cliffs of Bon Echo Park. Or explore the area on snowshoes or skis and immerse yourself in our own new trail system, featuring acres of beautiful tree-lined groomed trails. With ample parking space for trucks and trailers, we make it easier to do the winter activities you love.
